The Eames collaboration bridged together two different design industries, furniture and footwear. It was a way for us to honor each Eameses' impact on the design world as a whole. We planned each and every release to educate and bring awareness to this impact, telling specific stories about Charles and Ray, their work, and their legacy.

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE EAMES TEAM!
The first F&F release paid homage to the Eames House and the way it blends uniformity and utility as a canvas for the Eameses' personality, The second release follows suit, reimagining the Club C as part of an Eames Office Black and White uniform.
The packaging shows an architect's blueprint for the Eames House, utilizing the slide-out to picture both House and Studio in one. On the bottom, a note written from Eames Demetrios details the collection itself.
We also paid homage to Ray Eames, the mind behind many of the Eameses' color and composition designs. We redeveloped one of her iconic textiles and painting compositions to transform the Club C.
These 5 Club Cs made up the first collection of the project, focusing on Charles and Ray themselves. The following year, we released our second collection of Classic Leathers, that focus on some of the designs they created.
The fibreglass series takes from some of the original catalog colors: Seafoam Green, Parchment, and Pink.
The elephant series started out as a full family offering, but was later narrowed down to an adults release. Here are some of the originals:
Ice Grey, Poppy Red, and Lime are used on the monochrome offerings. The tongue and insoles feature an elephant pattern that references some of the other colors seen below.
The Eames Lounge Chair just might be the Eameses' most recognizable design. We combined two of the main materials used on the chair, leather and plywood, into one on this Classic Leather.
The final release colorway, Rosewood, was the Eameses' favorite finish in plywood. However, we had originally planned a Calico Ash colorway to honor the first finishes of plywood used.
For every release, we made sure to use our best version of the shoe as the base. This meant materials, graphic details, and trims that were closest to the originals in the archive. Not just an average inline shoe.
The product makes up just one part of the project. The marketing and launch bring the partnership to life, and I was able to help design merch, tote bags, invitations, and more as part of the release.
